About the Book
FIND YOUR SWEET SPOT
A few years ago I began to notice the first stages of what could only be described as burnout. I was doing what I cover in this book. The only problem was I was doing it for everything and everyone that came my way for help. With the counsel of some very trusted advisors and the help of my wife, we decided to take a 3 month sabbatical to refocus and recharge.
The phone was switched to Do not Disturb, social media was ignored, only family and close friends knew how to contact me and off we went. The next three months involved resting my body, clearing my mind, lots of sightseeing, walks on beaches, watching sunsets and generally, not solving other peoples problems.
This volume is the product of more than 40 years in leadership and 25 years of training other leaders. The sections, chapters and subheadings have been developed by life experience, study and sometimes, even failures. It’s not theory, it works. I know because it has worked for me.
