I was born in Calcutta (now known as Kolkata), India, the eldest of four boys. We lived in a one room apartment till I was almost 12 years old. Despite our meager living space, we were considered middle class and certainly a lot better off than the dozen us so people that slept on the landing in our apartment block. Before our family moved to Australia, we never went more than three miles from our home. If you could walk or take a rickshaw, we would go.

If you had asked me back then, I would never have guessed I would be traveling the world, speaking to leaders, and bringing people into a place of realizing their greater potential. My first time on an airplane is when we moved from India to Australia. I never realized that the intersection of my purpose and latent abilities would mean that I would be getting on planes over and over as I worked in my sweet spot.

From Sydney to Singapore, New Zealand to New York and Minneapolis to Mumbai, I have spoken to large and intimate audiences helping leaders discover their sweet spot in personal and professional life. I am married to Maree, and we have two married sons and five grandchildren.
